Fort Sill soldiers returning home Monday

FORT SILL, OK (KSWO) -About 100 Fort Sill soldiers will be reunited with their families on Monday.

The soldiers are from the B Battery, First Battalion, 14th Field Artillery. They left home May 2015 for the CENTCOM area of operation. CENTCOM is the United States Central Command and is responsible for U.S. security in 20 nations stretching through the Arabian Gulf region into central Asia, most notably in Afghanistan and Iraq. 

A welcome home ceremony is set for 1 p.m. at Rinehart Fitness Center.

    An Edmond teenager accused of killing his stepmother earlier this year will appear in court again in December. Joshua Bryant, 18, appeared in court yesterday to hear some of the state's evidence against him. He is accused of shooting his mother in the head after knocking her unconscious with a baseball bat. Prosecutors say he confessed to the murder. His attorney believes the teen was not in control of his actions.
