Motorcyclist injured in Lawton wreck

LAWTON, OK (KSWO) –A motorcyclist is recovering at a hospital after he struck a vehicle early Monday afternoon.

The crash happened at West Gore Boulevard and 26th Street around 12:30 p.m. Police say the man was weaving in and out of traffic when he clipped a car with his handlebars. The man was taken to Comanche County Memorial Hospital with head and leg injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

The motorcyclist was cited for DUI and careless driving.
