DUNCAN, OK (KSWO) -The City of Duncan has terminated their director of public works.

Ron Kroop confirmed the move Tuesday. He has only been with the city since August, and spoke about the city's plans to bring Clear Creek Lake online as an alternate water source. He didn't comment on the circumstances of his dismissal, only saying that retirement is foreign to him, so he's currently looking for another job in public works.

The City of Duncan did not send comment on the firing.
