LAWTON, OK (KSWO) –The Lawton Business Women’s Club is hosting a spaghetti fundraiser at First Baptist Church in downtown Lawton until 7 p.m. Monday.

The annual spaghetti dinner is put on to raise scholarship money for women attending Cameron University and Great Plains Technology Center.

For just $15, you’ll get spaghetti, garlic bread, a salad, a drink and a dessert.

Rebecca Perryman, a member of the Lawton Business Women's Club, says the organization is all about helping and advancing women in the community.

"We also do a mentoring program. We are trying to get young women to realize how important it is to get involved in the community and give back," Perryman said.

All of the money raised at the dinner will go toward scholarships. Perryman says they hope to raise at least $5,000.
