LAWTON, OK (KSWO) - The two would-be burglars arrested after a neighbor caught them and held them at gunpoint were in court Tuesday. Police say 19-year-olds D’Quan Adams and Merrimon Linen were caught in the act of breaking into a home on Northwest Hilltop, just off Fort Sill Boulevard and Rogers Lane last week.

When police arrived they found the two suspected thieves on the ground being held at gunpoint. There was a third thief but he got away. Police also found TVs, and jewelry scattered throughout the neighborhood.

Adams was charged with conspiracy to commit a burglary, second degree burglary and resisting arrest, and is being held on $200,000 bond. Linen was charged with second degree burglary and is being held on $3,500 bond.
