LAWTON, OK (KSWO) –A joint effort between the Lawton Police Department’s Special Operations Section and a U.S. Marshal to arrest a known prostitute with a federal warrant ended with her and three others being arrested.

Just before 11 a.m. Monday, an undercover detective called Chaunte Jones to set up a meeting. Jones agreed to “perform a sexual act” in exchange for $100. Detectives were watching the location they agreed to meet at, a Lawton motel, when they saw a silver Mercury Grand Marquis pull up. Jones got out of the car along with two other people. Detectives continued to watch them go between two second-floor rooms.

Detectives met up with Jones in her room, arrested her and found methamphetamine.

After arresting Jones, they went to the other motel room and talked to the three people in there. Bambi Earhart told them the room was hers and that Otis Watson, AKA “Tree,” paid for it and was staying with her. Earhart allowed the detective to search room and they found a baggy with possible meth residue and a digital scale with residue. Earhart was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ashaki Mayo, another woman involved in the incident, was found with meth, a dollar bill with cocaine, marijuana, marijuana pipes and a Zolpidem pill.

All four of them were taken to the police station for interviews. Watson was subsequently arrested for pandering and for having meth in his pocket.

Lawton Police say charges will be submitted to the Comanche County District Attorney’s Office Tuesday afternoon.

Jones is being held on a $30,000 bond. Mayo is being held on a $20,000 bond. Watson is being held on a $150,000 bond.
