Duncan senior publishes first book

DUNCAN, OK (KSWO) -A Duncan High School senior is now a published author.

Bridget Tolle held a book signing event at Duncan High School Wednesday for her book, “Elemental Kidnapping.”

The book's story line tells the tale of four princesses with specials powers who all live in different kingdoms. Tolle says she got the inspiration from her life and experiences with her friends. She says she's always wanted to be an author and started writing in the first grade.

She went on to write her first book in the eighth grade with the hopes of becoming a published teen author. Despite doubts from others, she succeeded.

"If anyone tells you that you can't achieve your dreams, they’re completely and utterly wrong. You're seriously the only one stopping yourself from achieving anything you want to do in life," Tolle said.
