LAWTON, OK (KSWO) –A Lawton man was arrested late Sunday night for his sixth time driving without a license and for having drugs.

Daniel Rodriguez was pulled over just before midnight Sunday for not having a working tag light. Rodriguez told the officer he didn’t have a valid driver’s license or insurance. The officer was told by dispatch that Rodriguez had been cited for driving with a suspended license five times before being pulled over this time.

The officer arrested Rodriguez for driving without a license before finding marijuana in his shoe and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. In the vehicle, they found a Crown Royal bag with two light bulbs with residue and burn marks, five straws with residue and three small baggies with residue.

He was booked into the Lawton City Jail for not having driver’s license or car insurance, possession of marijuana and a non-working tag light.
