Burglary investigation leads to meth arrest

LAWTON, OK (KSWO) –More meth has been taken off the streets of Lawton.

Police were called out on a possible burglary near Southwest 1st Street and ‘A’ Avenue. They found a man matching the description nearby and stopped him.

The officers asked if the man, Clifford Norseworthy, if he uses meth and he admitted that he used to. Norseworthy went on to tell the officers that the last time he used meth was a week prior. The officers asked if they could search him and he said, “Y’all can search me all you want to."

Officers ended up finding three small baggies of crystal methamphetamine and a metal clip that he said was used for marijuana.

Norseworthy was arrested and booked into the Lawton City Jail for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

     Authorities say 26-year-old Raymond McKinnon was taken into custody around 9:30 on Wednesday evening by the U.S. Marshal's Service.
