LAWTON, OK (KSWO) - A Lawton church is sending their drill and praise team to the national competition in Alabama, and had a fundraiser Saturday to get them there. Galilee Missionary Baptist Church has a history of sending their team to the competition for more than 20 years, and they have come back with 17 trophies.

All day Saturday they had a spring carnival with games, food and entertainment to raise money to send the kids to go earn their 18th trophy. The team director says they need $22,000 to get their team to Alabama, and this fundraiser helped them get close to their goal.
