OKLAHOMA (KSWO) - Voters in several Southwest Oklahoma cities are heading to the polls Tuesday.

In Lawton, voters who live in Ward 7 will decide the runoff election between V. Gay McGahee and Jesse Cross. The two advanced after the primary in February.

In Duncan, voters in Ward 3 will pick a new city council representative after Tommy Edwards decided not to seek another term. The race is between Patty Wininger and Clyde Shaw.

School bond elections will also be on the ballots in some communities.

Voters in Cache will decide on a $22 million building bond.

In Sterling, a $2 million bond issue is up for a vote. It's geared toward improvements to the auditorium, gym, community center and adding new classrooms.

In neighboring Fletcher, voters will decide whether the school district will get two new buses.

In Cotton County, voters in the Big Pasture school district are looking at two proposals for a total of $440,000. The money would be used to buy a few new buses, fix the high school's leaking roof and improve technology in the classrooms.

The polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
