LAWTON, OK (KSWO) –The Lawton Police Department is building relationships one cup of coffee at a time, and they want you to be a part of it.

Friday, April 8, the department will hold its first ever Coffee with Cops. The purpose is to bring police officers and community members together to discuss issues and learn more about each other.

The event will be held at the McDonald’s at 1948 NW 82ND St. from 7:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m.

Lawton Police Chief James Smith will be there along with Detective Nancy Lombardo and at least two uniformed police officers. You can ask them anything you want and the coffee is free.
