WALTERS, OK (KSWO) -If you live in the Walters area, you may have noticed some new police vehicles patrolling the streets.

The Walters Police Department recently updated its fleet with two Dodge Chargers. The vehicles will replace two other cruisers that were up to 15 years old.

Police say they put around 300 miles on each of their vehicles per day and it was just time for an upgrade.
