ALTUS, OK (KSWO) –A shooting in Altus left two people injured.

The shooting happened on the 600 block of West Hardy. Police say they were called to the 600 block of West Walker originally to investigate a call about shots being fired. That call led them one block north to Hardy where they found blood.

During their investigation, they were told about two people with gunshot wounds at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. One person was shot in the abdomen and another in the arm. Their injuries are non-life threatening.

Police say the investigation is ongoing, but they have reason to believe the shooting is gang related and the victims are not cooperating.
