LAWTON, OK (KSWO) -The Pride Gallery at Southwestern Medical Center is hosting a new exhibit entitled "Tom Biggs and Divas."

Acclaimed artist Tom Biggs dedicated his time to guiding a group of eight ladies in the art of water color. The art students are referred to as "divas" due to the divine, adventurous and conquering themes of their work.

“I'm really proud of these girls because they have put out some beautiful art in a difficult medium, water color. They have really improved to the point that they have exceeded my expectations,” Biggs said of the artists.

The opening reception is Thursday, April 14, at 5 p.m. If you are unable to make it then, the exhibit runs through July 9.

The Pride Gallery provides art to the community by promoting local artists.
