GEARY, OK (KSWO) –An Oklahoma man was arrested Wednesday for sex crimes against a child.

Jason Edgar Daniel, 30, was arrested at his Geary home in Blaine County Wednesday and was arrested on five counts of lewd or indecent proposals to a child under 16, 10 counts of solicitation of a minor by technology, four counts of possession of child pornography and one count of violating the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.

The investigation into Daniel started when the mother of an 11-year-old girl in Sparta, Tennessee, found explicit messages sent between the two of them on the daughter’s cell phone. Sparta police contacted OSBI who in turn investigated the sexting.

In an interview with Daniel, he admitted to regularly seeking out young girls online and exchanging sexually explicit photos and conversations with them.
