Driver killed in Rogers Lane crash

UPDATE: Lawton police released the name of the man who was killed in the accident on 67th Street and Rogers Lane. Ricky Watson of Headrick, Oklahoma was struck by a semi-truck when he pulled out in front of it.

LAWTON, OK (KSWO)- A two-mile stretch of Rogers Lane was shut down for several hours following a fatal crash Friday evening. Police say a semi-truck was eastbound on Rogers Lane just before 6 p.m. when it broadsided a car that appeared to pull out in front of it.   

Both eastbound and westbound lanes between Northwest 82nd St. and Northwest 52nd St. were immediately shut down. Police remained on scene Friday as they worked to reconstruct the accident.
