LAWTON, OK (KSWO) - While it was sprinkling outside Saturday, a few people stood out at the corner of Gore Boulevard and 4th Street sprinkling happiness.

"Everybody should sprinkle happiness,” said organizer Kerstin Plant. “Tell somebody that we like your smile, I like your shoes, beautiful hair and that makes the world a better place."

A national movement called the Happiness Sprinkling Project was brought here by Plant. She, a few friends and even some firefighters stood outside holding positive signs as people drove by Saturday.

Plant says they got waves, honks and some even got out to give them a hug.
