Black beats Orange 23-7 in Oklahoma State Spring Game

LAWTON, Okla - The Black team defeated the Orange team 23-7 in Oklahoma State's Spring Football Game.

The game kicked off with Redshirt Sophomore Quarterback Taylor Cornelius hitting Jhajuan Seales on a five-yard slant pass that turned into a 75-yard touchdown for the Black team on the opening play of the game. Mason Rudolph answered that score for the Orange team by running in a touchdown himself off a Black team turnover. A couple field goals by Matt Amendola gave the Black squad a 13-7 lead. Then in the second half, Cornelius continued to show his talents by finding Chris Lacey for a 28-yard score to give the Black a 20-7 lead.

Cornelius finished with nine completions for 192 yards and two touchdowns. Rudolph finished with 105 yards on 19 completions and the one touchdown run. the Cowboy defense forced four total turnovers on the afternoon.
