LAWTON, OK (KSWO) –A Dallas man has been charged after admitting to shooting his cousin in Lawton Friday night.

Ladarion Willis was charged Tuesday with possession of a firearm as a convicted felon.

Willis told police early Saturday morning that he believed his cousin was “stealing his personal energy” and gave his girlfriend an STD. Willis then told police he shot his cousin twice with a .380 handgun, one was just above the left buttock and the other was in the inner left thigh. The shooting happened just after 11 p.m. at the Hollybrook Apartment on Northwest 38th Street.

Willis is being held at the Comanche County Detention Center on a $30,000 bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for May 26.
