LAWTON, OK (KSWO) - Five Cameron softball players have earned all-conference honors. Sonora Zukerman and Breezy McComas were named to the Lone Star Conference's 1st team.
Zukerman led CU in both batting average, at .408 and runs batted in with 52. She was second on the team with 12 home runs. That gave her 43 career homers, tying the program record.
Mccomas also had a huge year at the plate. Her 13 home runs were tops on the team. She was second on the squad with a .391 batting average and 42 rbi's.
Chelsea DeLong was a 2nd team All-LSC pick. The senior catcher hit .325 and was 3rd on the team with 36 rbi's. DeLong also won her second consecutive gold glove award.
Senior infielder Carly Allerheiligen and junior pitcher Emily Wasinger were 3rd team selections. Allerheiligen was second on the team with 12 doubles this season.
Wasinger finished with a 16-9 record in the circle and a 2.79 earned run average.
