CHATTANOOGA, OK (KSWO) -If you live near Chattanooga, your response time from emergency personnel will now be quicker.

Comanche County commissioners decided at a meeting Monday morning that all emergencies in Chattanooga will result in a call to responders in Comanche County.

Chattanooga is in Comanche County, but the western edge of town backs up to the edge of Tillman County. Some people who don't live directly in town technically don't live in Comanche County. When they call for emergency personnel, first responders are sent from Frederick, rather than being sent from Chattanooga.

With the new system, first responders will be sent from Frederick and Chattanooga.
