Fletcher water well offline, residents asked to conserve

FLETCHER, OK (KSWO) –The Town of Fletcher is asking its residents to conserve water until a well can be fixed.

One of the three water wells for the town went offline Wednesday evening. Fletcher is asking everyone to conserve water and to not water lawns until the well can be fixed.

A company is scheduled to start working on repairs first thing Friday morning.

    The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is looking for witnesses to an officer-involved shooting south of Bristow, after a police chase down State Highway 48. According to the OSBI, Shawn Dale Sexton opened fire on a Bristow police officer as he was driving away from a shooting he'd just committed in Slick. As he was speeding down the highway, he also shot at a truck driving by.

    Officials in Seminole County are working to identify someone after finding a dead man on the side of the road. That was near Cromwell. Authorities were alerted to the body after someone called On-Star, who then called 911. The man was found just past a bridge. The Seminole County Sheriff says they are investigating it right now as a homicide.
