Chamber of Commerce hosts Armed Forces Day luncheon

LAWTON, OK (KSWO) –The Lawton Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce hosted the 52nd annual Armed Forces Day luncheon.

The keynote speaker was retired Chief Warrant Officer 2 Coral Denise Porch. She is a fourth generation United States veteran.

The luncheon was to honor those who have served in the United States Armed Forces and to get ready for Saturday’s Armed Forces Day parade and festivities. The parade begins at 10 a.m. and they start by heading west on Southwest ‘C’ Avenue from 6th Street before turning north onto Southwest 11th Street. The parade ends of the corner of Northwest Fort Sill Boulevard and Ferris Avenue.

Post-parade events will be held at Elmer Thomas Park from noon until midnight.
