South beats North 34-3 in SW Senior Bowl

LAWTON, Okla (KSWO) - The South defeated the North 34-3 Saturday in the 2016 edition of the Southwest Oklahoma Senior Bowl in Cache.

The South jumped out to a quick start blocking a North punt which led to the first touchdown of the game by Cache's Trystan Slinker. Matt Seratte of Cache went ahead to score the South's second touchdown in the second quarter. The South went on to lead 21-0 at the half.

In the fourth quarter, Lawton High kicker Caitlyn Cox made history once again. She became the first female not only to play in the Senior Bowl, but also to score with a 32-yard field goal in the fourth quarter.
