Man takes plea deal following high-speed chase

LAWTON, OK (KSWO) -A convicted felon is headed back to prison after pleading guilty to leading police on a high speed motorcycle chase October 2015.

Jeremy Tahmahkera, 38, pleaded guilty to six counts, including driving under the influence of alcohol. Tahmahkera sped away from Cache Police October 2015 and led them on a 25-minute chase before crashing his motorcycle at South Baseline Road and Railroad.

He was sentenced to 25 years in prison, but he’ll only serve 12 of those years with credit for time already served.
