Lawton man arrested for touching children

LAWTON, OK (KSWO) - A Lawton man is jailed, accused of inappropriately touching children.

Police confronted Don Mercer Thursday at a local business and arrested him. According to a report, when Mercer came to the door the detective said, "I guess you've been expecting us," and Mercer said "Yes."

Police were contacted by DHS after they interviewed two children who told them Mercer had touched them under their clothes.
