LAWTON, OK (KSWO) - There are only three more days to register to vote for the local and state elections coming up at the end of June. At the Lawton Public Library on Tuesday, a local organization headed by Sherene L. Williams held a voter registration drive.

They helped people fill out the forms to register to vote, or update their address.

Williams says she has seen a lot of people come in to change their address so they are eligible to vote in the Lawton city council races.

"They need to have that opportunity to select who they think would be able to do the job in their particular section here in Lawton, in their particular section in their community," said Williams.

If you missed you chance at the library on Tuesday, you still have until this Friday on June 3rd to register. Just head over to the Comanche County Courthouse, and apply at the election board office. Election Day is June 28th.
