LAWTON, OK (KSWO) - Comanche County's Excise Board met this afternoon to discuss the county's budget.

The Excise board has approved the budget. County commissioners came up with a proposed budget a few weeks ago.

That budget--which is around $8.5 million --is less than last year's available budget and will result in every department, having anywhere between $8,000-$21,000 less than what they got last year.

It now goes to state auditor for certification.
