LAWTON, OK (KSWO) - A Lawton mother is set to learn her punishment in November after pleading guilty to enabling child abuse.

According to Comanche County court records, Joann Garza admitted she allowed her husband, Eddie Cano, to beat her one-year old daughter. Police say she was brought to a hospital unresponsive with bruises all over her body in September 2015. Doctors said the girl also had brain bleeding.

Cano has already pleaded guilty to child abuse and was sentenced to 20-years in prison.
