STEPHENS COUNTY, OK (KSWO) - A woman was critically injured after a car crash Sunday in Stephens County.

It happened on Camelback Road, west of Duncan when the driver hit standing water and lost control of her car. Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the car went off the road and hit a barbed wire fence before going into a utility pole. The Central High and Duncan Fire Department had to use the jaws of life to get her out.

The driver, 73-year-old Carole Lambert, was transferred to the O-U Medical Center in critical condition.
