LAWTON, OK (KSWO) - A jury has been seated in the trial of a Lawton man accused of first-degree murder.

Marquise Rasco is accused of killing Karl Huffmaster during a home invasion in Lawton in April of 2015. Police say Rasco kicked in Huffmaster's door and barged in with a weapon while demanding money from the victim.

Rasco appeared in Comanche County court Monday as prosecutors and his defense attorney spent the day questioning jurors.

Opening statements will take place Tuesday morning at 9, followed by testimony where the state is expected to call 6 witnesses.
