MEDICINE PARK, OK (KSWO) - Whether you have a street rod, muscle car or classic car, all of them were out at Medicine Park on Saturday. That's because The Old Plantation's 9th annual car show was this weekend.

Organizers say they had a lot of classic cars entered in the competition like Chevy Bel Airs, classic Corvette's and Plymouth Roadrunners

Connie Bowker entered the competition with her set of wheels that took five years to build.

She says this is something her whole family works on.

"It's just a hobby that we prefer,” said Bowker. “We like working outside and it's something that we can do together. He's taught me to weld, he's taught me to bodywork. It's just something that we can do together."

And their street rod got first place in the competition!

There were also awards for best of show car, and best of show truck for $750.

Event organizers say the car show allows people to show off their treasured vehicles, and to get people to visit Medicine Park.
