Arts for All Gala kicks off at the Great Plains Coliseum

LAWTON, OK (KSWO) Arts for All has been working to keep the arts alive in Lawton and in childrens' lives for over 30 years and tonight was one of their major fundraisers.


The Arts for All Gala was held at the Great Plains Coliseum tonight and included live and silent auctions, food, music, and dancing.
Tonight's theme was "Where the Wild Things Art"

One-hundred-percent of the money raised stays right here in Lawton and benefits organizations like the
 

According to Kris Gill, the Chairman for the Arts for All Sponsorship Committee, the funds raised at the Gala will support organizations like the Lawton Philharmonic Orchestra, the Lawton-Ft. Sill Art Council and the Lawton Community Theater.  Gil says, “We were able to provide workshops 12,695 kids, in one year, for free.  It's huge!”

About 600 people attend the Gala each year.
Arts for All also holds an annual fund drive in February and the Arts for All Festival in May.
