Polls now open in southwest Oklahoma

Lawton , OK (KSWO) - Polls opened up at 7 a.m. this morning for the general election, and they will stay open until 7 tonight.

The Comanche County election board expects a record number of votes cast.

The election board says the busiest times are when they first open, during lunch time, and when everyone is getting off work.

If your name is not found in the registry, you will be allowed to cast your vote on a provisional ballot.
You can also bring a sample ballot with notes about state question to help you through the process.
You are not allowed to wear any political hats, shirts or buttons in the polling place.

You must have your photo I-D or voter registration card in order to place your vote.

Be sure to check the KSWO website and Facebook page throughout the day to get the latest election coverage.
