DUNCAN, OK (KSWO) -Many residents in Duncan today took advantage of the great deals and offers to shop local and small.

In honor of Small Business Saturday, Duncan Downtown is hosted its second annual "Donuts and Drinks in Downtown Duncan." Dozens of shops along main street reached out to the community, offering shoppers discounts, door prizes, and of course, donuts and drinks.Local owners are excited because it not only supports local businesses, but helps to unify the entire community. They hope it draws more and more people in each year.

"So, all those things we do all year long, this is kind of a reminder that hey, come back and see us," said Leslee Kern, business owner. "Come shop with us, so we can help you again next year."

The event also featured a special appearance by Santa Claus, who took pictures and personally listened to kids' Christmas wishes.
