LAWTON, OK (KSWO) - New information in the shooting of a prison guard outside her home in Lawton earlier this year.

Tuesday night, an arrest warrant and charges have been filed against the suspected gunman.

Michael Ishman, of Tulsa, now faces a charge of shooting with intent to kill, as well as conspiracy. Prosecutors say DNA evidence connected Ishman to the crime.

The victim told investigators that a man in a black hoodie came up to the driver's side of her car and started shooting. Witnesses saw the shooter run away, and gave chase before losing sight of him near an apartment complex.  Investigators found a hoodie and a gun at the complex.  DNA testing of the hoodie matched with Ishman, who previously served time in prison on gun and drug charges.

Investigators have previously charged a woman with conspiracy in the case.  Jana Givens told police that her boyfriend, Michael Givens, gave Ishman the order to kill the prison guard, and that she dropped him off near the scene of the shooting that day.  She also said she drove him to Dallas after the shooting, and bought him a plane ticket to Tulsa.

Ishman faces up to life in prison, if convicted.

Standing alongside Putin, Trump steered clear of any confrontation with the Russian, going so far as to question American intelligence and last week's federal indictments that accused 12 Russians of hacking into Democratic email accounts to hurt Hillary Clinton in 2016.
