LAWTON, OK (KSWO) - Lawton police say two people are going to be okay following a rollover crash early Thursday.

LPD says an officer was trying to stop their car for a traffic violation when the driver began to speed away. Moments later, the car went out of control into a ditch before rolling. It happened on Quanah Parker Trailway at Horton Boulevard. LPD says the passenger was thrown out and the driver was pinned for a short time. We're told their injuries are not life-threatening.

Investigators believe the driver may have been trying to get away because of license issue.
