OK (KSWO)- Oklahoma is officially compliant with the REAL ID act.This afternoon, Governor Mary Fallin signed House Bill 1845. The new law will allow Oklahomans the choice to either get a compliant REAL-ID act or keep the one they already have.
If you do not get the new ID effective in January 22nd next year, you will not be allowed to enter a federal building, military post, or board a commercial flight.
House Bill 1845 is the first measure of this year's legislative session to be signed into law.
