TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — The Tulsa house used in The Outsiders film is being renovated so that it looks like it did when the movie released in 1983. Its address is 731 North Saint Louis Avenue, but the sign says The Outsiders Way.

“From the time the movie wrapped in 1982 until just last year,” says Zachary Matthews. “This had been a $500-$600 a month rental house.”

Lowe, Dillon, Swayze, Cruise, Macchio and Estevez all walked the wood floors of The Outsiders house.

They’re up to $35,000 in cash, lumber, and cabinets donations.

According to KTUL, they hope to have the house ready for an event in May where some of the actors will walk through the home and screen the movie with fans.

We're hearing from one of the people being called a hero after helping to rescue four children from a flooded drainage ditch in Oklahoma City. It happened after a storm hit the area yesterday afternoon. People at two locations helped pull the kids from the water. One man says he scaled a fence near his home once he saw them in danger, and managed to pull one of the boys to safety.

A man doing work at an Oklahoma cemetery has been delayed after thieves made off with his cement mixer. For more than 25 years, Andy Antonian has been working to craft stone structures across Mannford. He'd been working on a project for several months when slabs of stone started to go missing. That's when friends of his set up a camera, just days before thieves stole his cement mixer from where it was sitting, next to the Oak Hill Cemetery office.
