OK (KSWO)- Oklahomans are also dealing with the devastating effects of wildfires. Governor Mary Fallin has declared a state of emergency for 22 Oklahoma counties. The majority of them are in the northwestern part of the state.

The executive order allows state agencies to make emergency purchases needed to expedite the delivery of resources. Fallin's order is in effect for 30 days and could be amended to include more counties if necessary.

Authorities estimate that more than 800,000 acres have been burned in Beaver, Harper, and Woodward counties.
