Chamber of Commerce hosts networking event

LAWTON, OK (KSWO) –  Members of the Lawton Fort-Sill Chamber of Commerce gathered for the monthly "Business After Hours" networking event.

The meeting was held Thursday evening at the newly remodeled Billingsley Ford dealership.

Attendees got to see the renovations, given a first-hand look at the investment the dealership made for its customers.

Chamber chairman Mark Brace explained that the "Business After Hours" event filled vital need for both the chamber and the community -- promoting relationships between and fostering a support network for local businesses.

"Its really important for the Chamber to be out in the front, leading and providing an opportunity to meet new people, to learn about new businesses and to promote their own businesses, Brace said.

Also present at the meeting was the Great Plains Chapter of AMBUCS, which presented two AmTryke cycles.
