MEDICINE PARK, OK (KSWO) - The Spring season and music was celebrated at Park Stomp on Saturday.

Visitors with their lawn chairs and picnic blankets picked a spot in front of the main stage in Medicine Park to listen to bluegrass, country, rockabilly, punk and rock music.

Event coordinator Dwight Cope said they have this festival at Medicine Park for the music, and the changing of the seasons.

"Well it's just kind of a kicking off Spring, and it's that time of year when people want to get out and do things,” said Cope. “It's good to get Medicine Park out there to the public and give people the reason to come and hang out."

They also had booths set up around town with arts and handmade gifts. There was also plenty of food.

Park Stomp continued Saturday night until 10, and will start up again on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
