TULSA, OK (KSWO)- An Oklahoma family has been awarded a $10 million judgment following an inmate's death at the Tulsa County Jail.

In 2011, Elliott Williams spent five days lying on the floor with a broken neck. Detention officers ignored his pleas for medical help and he later died.

His family's attorney told a federal jury he was treated like a caged animal and tortured in his final days. Jurors agreed and said Tulsa County should pay the family. The former sheriff was ordered to pay $250,000.
