LAWTON, OK (KSWO)-The 53rd annual Home and Garden show kicked off Friday at the Great Plains Coliseum in Lawton.

The show features more than 80 vendors offering tips and services for home improvement projects, including landscaping, interior design, and more.

The Lawton Home and Garden Show also offers workshops, demonstrations, and raffles.

Organizers say the event is convenient and can save you time because all the businesses and services you might need are all under one roof.

Steve Taylor, the President of the Southwest Oklahoma Home Builders Association says, “It's a great time! It’s a great time to just get some ideas for your home.”  He added, “It’s that time for spring cleaning, spring remodeling for some folks, so people should come get some fresh ideas and find out what's new and what's trending right now."

Taylor expects about 5-thousand people at this year’s show.

The Lawton Home and Garden Show, sponsored by the Southwest Oklahoma Home Builders Association continues Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Admission is free.  KSWO will also have a booth at the event, so you can come by and meet some of the 7 News team.
