LAWTON, OK (KSWO)-The Great Plains Coliseum was full of those looking for ways to beautify their homes at the 53rd Annual Lawton Home and Garden show on Saturday.

Richard Stanton and his wife were just a couple of people who decided to come out to the show with those simply looking to add a little extra to their homes this Spring.

"Just wanted to see what kind of renovations we could do to our home,” said Stanton.

This was their first time at this show, but like many others, they soon realized this would not be their last.

"We really like that massive Jacuzzi tub,” said Stanton. “We have goals.”

The show offered nearly 80 vendors including; landscaping and design tips and services for those who need it even some services you wouldn't expect.

Many community members came out not only to find new ways to beautify their home, enjoy free wine tasting, but even get their spines adjusted.

Organizer of the event and Southwest Homeowners Association President Steve Taylor said the event was the perfect opportunity for one reason: having all Oklahoma vendors in one spot.

"It's a good time to start getting your plans ready,” said Taylor. “Get your yard in shape and your home all clean and ready for Spring and just really get some great ideas."
