WALTERS, OK (KSWO) - You can support the Walters Volunteer Fire Department and enjoy a home-cooked meal.
The department will host its annual hamburger supper from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the station at 129 East Colorado St. in Walters.
Tickets are $8 at the door, but you can also donate whatever you would like to help out.
Deputy Chief Scooter Bivins says the money raised will go toward paying for training and equipment used on a daily basis.

"Everything that a firefighter uses is extremely expensive, so those funds really come in handy for the year, Bivins said.
Bivins says all donations are appreciated.
On the menu will be hamburgers, potato salad, baked beans and homemade desserts.
