Town Hall Meeting to discuss Hep C and veterans

LAWTON, OK (KSWO)- A town hall meeting is set for tomorrow in Lawton to talk about Hepatitis C and how it's affecting veterans and their spouses.

Organizers say it's especially important for Vietnam veterans because one in ten has Hepatitis C and many don't even know it. Those born from 1945-1965 are at high risk.

A panel will offer information about treatment at the Lawton-Fort Sill Veterans Center on Flower Mound Road starting at 11:00 a.m. on April 8th. It's free and open to the public. A meal will be served at 12:30 and the town hall discussion will begin at one.
