OK Students Invited to Enter 2017 Congressional Art Competition

Washington, D.C. (KSWO)– The office of Congressman Tom Cole is accepting entries from local high school students for the annual 2017 Congressional Art Competition.

Hosted by the U.S. House of Representatives, the nationwide An Artistic Discovery competition showcases high school art students’ creativity and encourages artistic talent.

The winning student’s artwork will be displayed for one year in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. The student will also get the chance to travel to Washington with a guest for a reception and award presentation. The winner is also eligible to receive a $3,000 scholarship to the Savannah College of Art & Design or Tennessee Wesleyan University.

All entries are due by May 2 at 4:00 p.m. at the locations listed below:
