BETHANY, OK (KSWO)– Thanks to the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s office, the Easter Bunny came early and brought smiles to patients at The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital.

“I wanted to become a deputy to make a difference and for me, it’s all about making a difference, one child at a time,” Deputy Sheriff Heather Williams said.

This is the 11th year that the friendly rabbit has hopped through the halls, visited with patients, took pictures, and delivered stuffed animals to patients with complex medical conditions and traumatic injuries. Today’s visit was the first time many patients have ever seen the holiday rabbit.
